Cairo - Limited Series - Portraits
In 2002, I lived in downtown Cairo. Everyday, I went out for a stroll to get a grasp of this city. To show and reveal what I experience, I take pictures of a street, humans and animals, houses and traffic. I decided to take a small digital camera that fits in my hand, hidden, and take pictures without thinking. The subjects are unaware that they are being photographed, and therefore they cannot pretend to be another character. This technique prohibits me from composing a sophisticated picture.
