Between the upheaval of Saddam Hussein’s removal from power in 2003 and the political fiction of Iraq’s alleged possession of a nuclear weapon, the country has had enough of mourning its dead. Some believe, and others dare say it out loud, that the roots of evil are still present, heralding the coming of a new monster — one worse than Daesh.
