The Origins is a photographic series that celebrates womanhood and offers a unique perspective on home birth. As a midwife for 20 years, the author has gone through changes in the perception of birth, and the evolution of the freedom of speech. This series is the result of deep reflection, nourished by its commitment to giving women the opportunity to give birth according to their wishes, even at home, despite the prejudices often associated with this practice. Through these photographs, he wishes to share a message of renewal and encourage women to believe in their ability to give birth in an environment that respects their choices and their autonomy.
