This book is an exhaustive treatment of the work of Mireille Loup, featuring her use of 3D techniques. The principle of using stereoscopy to create a 3D image dates back from 1853 and was first developed by a photographer who was able to create extremely suggestive shifting shapes and spellbinding impressions. But Mireille Loup's investigation of stereoscopy is not limited to this expriment. She offers a very special esthetic blur whereby separate worlds take shape through the gaze of the viewers immersing themselves in the pictures, without being able to specifically distinguish one or other due to the interactivity of the process itself.
